Abby is from a small Texas town just south of the Red River, where she learned the value of honesty, integrity, and hard work from her small-business-owning parents. After graduating from Bonham High School, Abby followed her love of music to Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma, where she served as a drum major for the Spirit of Southeastern Marching Band, a principal French horn player for the Southeastern Symphonic band, and the president of the Eta Nu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, an honorary service fraternity dedicated to supporting college band programs.
After graduating from Southeastern, Abby attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During her time in law school, Abby participated in the Board of Advocates, Public Interest Law Student Association, and Oxford study abroad program. She donated more than 100 hours of pro bono service work during her tenure as a law student. She then followed her passion for trial practice into an 8-year career as an assistant district attorney before joining the ranks of litigators at MJJAW in 2023. Abby believes the biggest privilege of being a lawyer is giving hope to those who feel like their voice has been lost in the legal process.
Abby is married and has a son and two dogs who always keep her on her toes. She is a proud Rotarian and an active member of the Norman Rotary Club. In her free time, Abby enjoys traveling with her family, watching OU football, and playing video games.
