Jami Rhoades Antonisse is a proud Bomber from Midwest City, OK. After graduating from high school in 1987, Jami attended Georgetown University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in French and a Certificate in Western European Studies in December of 1990. She then earned her master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland at College Park in December of 1994. After working as a law librarian in Washington, DC and Oklahoma City for several years, Jami enrolled at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She served as Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and held an externship with Judge Robin J. Cauthron of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
After graduating from law school with highest honors in May of 2005, Jami held a judicial clerkship with Judge James H. Payne of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma before entering private practice. Her legal experience includes appeals, civil rights, class actions, employment law, and insurance defense and coverage.
As a zealous advocate for public schools, Jami was proud to be one of the “Girl Attorneys” who marched on the state capitol during the Teacher Walkout of 2018. She is a member of the Management Committee in her role as Immediate Past President of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, a member (and Past President) of the Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation Board, and a member of the OK A+ Schools Board of Advocacy. She is also active with the Georgetown University Alumni Association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling with her husband and sons.
